BEHIND THE LENS

This has been a long time coming for me. I have been doing portraits for friends, friends of friends, friends of friends of friends, for years. Now, I want to step out of my comfort zone. I want to put my creative heart out there. My photography.

This born and raised Texas gal has lived a busy life. From Texas, at the age of 18, I moved to spread my wings and flew. Life took me to Illinois to study journalism. There, life introduced me to a wonderful boy. Then, life took me back to Texas, leaving school and the boy - behind.

​

Fortunately, my story does not end there. To make a long story short and sweet, more than a few years and a few states later, I found that wonderful boy again. 20 years after meeting, we have been married for five years and have a loving home filled with three beautiful children and a dog. My story is proof. Even when things do not go exactly as planned, they are still on a course.
